Texas is one of the top birding states in the union, boasting some 623 documented species that have been seen within its borders. To photograph each of these species would be very difficult for a single person to accomplish, nevertheless it is a challenge worthy of any Texan with an interest in both birds and photography.
My personal is goal is to photograph as many species as possible and where possible capture an image of both the male and female of each specie. Whenever possible, high quality images will be given preference but sometimes a lower or even poor quality image will be included simply because I have not been able to get a better quality one of that particular specie. Hopefully you will enjoy seeing this gallery grow over the years. I know for sure that I am enjoying the pursuit of these fascinating creatures.
